Bella Poarch's natural Filipino parents welcomed Bella in the Philippines, on February 9, 1997. The girl was adopted when she was three by her grandmother who was a slum dweller. The parents she adopted are American white man with a military background and her mother is Filipino. She claims she, her adopted brother and their mother suffered abuse when they were children, until she joined the military. To move to Texas at the age of thirteen, her family resided for some time in San Francisco to stay with her aunt. The physical abuse subsided within a couple of months but that she continued to suffer from psychological abuse by her father. Poarch became a part of the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch began her TikTok in April 2020, and quickly rose to fame. She amassed over 40 million fans within less than eight months. The account was home to a variety of videos, but her most popular hit was a music video featuring MillieB's cult hit track Soph Aspin Send. This became one of TikTok's most viewed videos. The clip zoomed in on her dancing while lip-syncing to the song became a viral hit. To capitalize on the fame she gained following her joining TikTok in December of 2016, Poarch launched her YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. Her fame grew rapidly around the month of the month of December in 2020. According to reports, she attracted the attention of two big professional Esports groups. FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves are both interested to have her as a freelance creator of content for their brands.
