Robyn Rihanna Rihanna is the Barbadian Songwriter and Singer whose hit songs include Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. She is a very popular artist in the prime of her young age, she's sold over the sum of 41 million album and over 150 million tracks across the globe, becoming one of the best-selling artists of all time. Barbados born, she began listening to reggae music as she grew and then began singing by herself, when she was in her teens. Due to the chaos that surrounded her family and the arguments that her parents had, she began to pursue music. Then she realized that she was going to make a profession of a performer. While still in highschool, she formed a music group and was asked to perform with Evan Rodgers. The producer was extremely impressed by the talent of this teenager. Rihanna relocated from the city of her birth to New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Rihanna rapidly became a household name following her first release. People of all ages were attracted by her songs with a catchy sound that had them tapping their feet. This led Rihanna into the film industry. Pretty young and highly talented her name is today considered a popular teen star and style icon. Rihanna uses her fame to great use through being taking part in various charities.
